Agency Principal at Channel 4
Chris has always worked in UK television, starting his career at London Weekend TV, followed by Granada and then joining Channel 4 in 2000. He is currently Agency Principle where he is responsible for creating advertiser partnerships and commercial deals across all the major buying networks and independent agencies.
Channel 4 is a state-owned public broadcaster with a strict remit to deliver to tastes not always represented elsewhere and they rely on advertiser money completely. Channel 4’s output promotes an alternative voice via Channel 4 News and Dispatches, diversity such as the Paralympics coverage and broad mass entertainment in shows like The Great British Bake Off. They also represent BT Sport and UKTV as third-party sales contracts.
